Canelco Capital involved in carrying out the change of ownership of Raskaspari Oy, a retailer of Volvo and Renault Trucks

As a result of a deal made today, the ownership of Raskaspari Oy was transferred to Maintenance Manager Mikko Rytkönen and Truck Salesman Heikki Tuomainen at Volvo Truck Center Kuopio, and the Canelco Capital Oy investment company. Raskaspari was sold by its long-term entrepreneurs, Kalle Salonen and Jyrki Hakkarainen. The company’s business will continue as previously without interruption.

Raskaspari Oy is a company authorised in the sales, maintenance and spare part service of trucks manufactured by Volvo and Renault Trucks operating in Kotka, Kouvola and Mikkeli, Finland. The company is also in charge of the maintenance of Volvo and Renault Trucks in Iisalmi and Joensuu, Finland. The acquisition was a result of a desire of the previous owners, Jyrki Hakkarainen and Kalle Salonen, to give up the business after a long career as the company’s entrepreneurs.

“It is truly great that we were able to find competent professionals to continue Raskaspari’s customer-driven business”, Jyrki Hakkarainen and Kalle Salonen rejoice. Mikko Rytkönen will start as the new CEO of Raskaspari Oy and Heikki Tuomainen will be in charge of truck sales in the company’s field of operations. “Mikko and Heikki both have extremely strong experience in after-sales as well as truck sales. We believe that their experience will allow Raskaspari to continue developing in the future,” notes Mikko Kuparinen, the CEO of Canelco Capital. “We are already primarily familiar with cooperating with Volvo Trucks as well as the customers and employees of Raskaspari. This lays a good foundation for continuing close cooperation with them and further advances this work”, Mikko Rytkönen and Heikki Tuomainen point out.
